Premiere Pro 1.5 Problem

Hello there.

I'm having problems w/ my Premiere Pro 1.5 (Windows XP SP2). In rhia link right here, the video doesn't show up on the Sequence monitor. But when I played it back on the clips monitor, it shows fine. I use DIVX 6.0 and VDubMod for the encoding. Does it have to do w/ DIVX 6's format or something? Please help.

Someone asks this question more than once every day on one or other of the Premiere forums. There are huge numbers of relevant answers to which you could refer.

Premiere does not handle MPEG format video like DivX on the timeline.

You either need to convert to AVI before import, or to obtain the MainConcept MPEG plugin.

Suggest you do a forum search here and on the Adobe forum to learn more about this.
