Hi,
I was trying to create a DVD from AVI sequence using "export to DVD" from PPro1.5.

I was able to create a 5 munute DVD with no problem.
However, I could not create DVD from 30 minute AVI.
PPro1.5 said "Out of Memory" when I tried the above.
I have 1GB memory and plenty of HD space.

I was using 4.7GB DVD media and it should be able to record at least an hour of movie.

1.Export to DVD in PPro1.5 - is this a DVD authoring tool or not?
2.Do I still need Encore,DVDIT...etc....?

Thanks in advance!

I have the exact problem. I am running this on a Dell 4600. What PC type are you using?

I have a non-name PC but I built it for myself.
I have 2 80GB HDD, 1GB Main Memory, P4-3GHz.
Let meknow when you find any solutions....

Thanks!

Same here. Short films no problem but already 25 minutes results in ´out of memory´. Most annoying.
I too have a non-name PC, built for me. It is a SCSI-version with 4 HDD´s from 9 to 74 GB, 2 GB RAM , P4-2.8 GHz. The error most probably has nothing to do with lack of memory. Export to a mpg-file does not work either but then the error is ´could not read frame´. I have also tried the MainConcept MPEG plug in and that works OK. Most confusing.

sorry i dont reply about what u'r talkin' about but u seem 2 know about premiere!!!
i'd like 2 know y, when i import a Huffyuv AVI compressed media in premiere pro, it doesn't realy look like ze original one wich i can normaly read in all media playerz?
u can see similar forms but colors are destroyed and pixels to!!! may be i compressed them whith premiere 6 but i don't think that's ze problem...
tell me pleaz if u can

Adobe has written a technical document on this issue. Here's the link:
Hopefully this helps you out. I was struggling for hours to solve the "out of memory" error. Turns out all I had to do was rename the Premiere Pro executable as windows SP2 conflicted with PP1.5

During the export on DVD process I've encountered this error message : B.R. err (BRErr, 1). What does it mean ?
Remark the sistem heve regulary done the trnscript and the assembly steps. Tks
