Premiere 6 LE to Premiere Pro (Export formats)

I need to export video to Quicktime or MPEG, but the quality is really poor when I do this with Premiere 6 LE. I'm looking to upgrade to Premiere Pro, but not if it won't solve my problems.

My questions are these:

1: How is the quality of image when exporting to Quicktime
from Premiere Pro? At the moment it is really pixelated and not at all clear.

2: Can I change the frame size when exporting to MPEG? Currently the image size is far too big, and the audio is not in sync.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly recieved.
