I just upgraded one of our end-user's PCs and moved a Pinnacle DV500 card and loaded Adobe Premiere 6.0 to the new machine (WinXP). Everything seems to be working fine, however, when he attempts to export a timeline he gets an error message stating "System could not be initialized" and no file is created.

I'm not very familiar with Premiere so I'm not exactly sure what this error is referring to. Thanks in advance for any help.

Have you updated Premiere 6.0 off the CD to 6.01 or 6.02 to cater for XP? See Adobe site for free update downloads.

Thanks for the post. I applied the updates today. The end-user is off-site right now, but I'll have him check when he gets back.

Thanks again.
