is there any way that i can preload images in dreamweaver so users won't take long to wait for all the images to donloaded? i really need help. thankx.

Could you state where the problem occurs?

There is a behaviour (via the menu: window=>behaviours, I think - or just push Shift-F3) called "preload images" - you could also use that. Click it and then select the images you want to be preloaded. It's as easy as that...

If your page takes terribly long to load already with the images you have on the first page, you should think about compressing the images a little more. Use Paint Shop Pro, Fireworks or Photoshop for that - there are also cheaper alternatives, but I don't know them (unfortunately :-()...
