I am sick and tired of downloading various spyware only to find that the spyware I have downloaded includes other spyware or does not block all spyware!!!
Can anyone recommend a piece of spyware that does not have these flaws!! Preferably a free one!!!
Thanks

SpyBot, AdAware, Bazooka, Hijack This!, Webroot SpySweeper...

Spend some time looking throught the FAQs in this forum on how to best put them to use.

Most of the anti-spyware programs do not block spyware. Most of those that do cost $$$$. Carrr's suggestions are the best ones that clean up the problem afterwards.

None of the software I've reviewed, include the paid ones, are perfect. For this reason it is best to have a combination of tools at your disposal. For example, I run both SpyBot and Adaware daily with a combination of others at frequent intervals.
