I have a 26 page pre printed government document that I have managed to fill by taking each page and handling it as a standalone report. Some of the pages simply have to print the jpg background some have bound and some unbound controls. I have tried to create a master report bringing them all together as sub reports but to no avail. I cannot get the first page (no data just the jpg) to print but, tho it works in report mode, it is blank in preview mode. I cannot modify the report in any way. It is being used by 'numpties' who simply have to read the document in full before printing and signing (It is a multi coloured report so printing many times is not an option). My question is, am I expecting too much from Access to manage this and, if so, is there a product out there that can integrate with access to allow this report to happen. The report is also available as a .pdf rather than jpgs.

Is the first page a subreport? If so, how is the image set? Is it an image control? Is it a page background?

Have you considered pushing your data to Word?

Hi Duane, I'd love to push the data to word but the info is only available (at the moment) as a PDF (The government would probably lock me up if I messed with this form!) For info the form was designed by a 'challenged' person who, when copying data input fields from one pageto another moved them round the page!!!!!!
I have created a master Report (which is blank - no header, footer etc) and then try to show the rest of the reports as subforms. The 'pre-printed form' is displayed using the picture option on the report property. I believe this is wrong as it only shows on the page header which is not displayed from a subreport. I am not aware of image control ....?

There are no page sections or events in subreports. An image control should be in your control tool box. You should also be able to use the insert menu.
