Pre/post commands on all server

Hi,

I'm fairly new to Backup Exec and am setting up a schedule. I am planning on setting up jobs that will backup multiple remote servers. If I choose to run the pre/post commands on all servers, are these commands executed when the partiuclar remote server is backed up, or will all remote servers run the commands simultaneously at the very beginning/end of the entire job.
