Setup:
Manager: BEB 10.0, AIX 4.3.3
Client: BEB 10.0 Agent, AIX 4.3.3

Problem:
I want to run a script in Client before running the backup job from Manager. This script will dump/backup the Informix database into a filesystem (there is still no BA for Infmx so we are using its native backup). As soon as the dump is done, BEB will then backup the said dump file to the Manager (tape).
I have tried running the (Client) script from the Manager server command prompt (i.e. #rsh <Client> -l root <path/script>) and was succesful. However, if I put in the said command in Pre/Post Command field, the script is not run but the job is.
Anyone tried this?

Thanks
