Hey, i am running 2 windows 2000 server boxes at 2 different locations and i have 2 watchguard Soho's (with the updated firmware) running at the locations.
i have setup routing and remote access so that i can create a PPTP VPN connection between the 2 sites. i already have 1 pptp vpn connection setup on one of the servers going to another server (3 servers in all)
My problem is getting the vpn connection at one place to connect to the other place. it usually connects one way but never back
i notice these in the watchguard logs:
2004-12-07-18:45:37 NAT Packet from 111.111.111.111 discarded - unknown network on trusted
2004-12-07-18:45:21 IP discard from 111.111.111.111 port 1723 to 222.222.222.222 port 29041 TCP ACK PSH (SIP discarded)
(111.111.111.111 being one site and 222.222.222.222 being the other site)
in the firewall in each soho i have PPTP protocol to be ENABLED and pointing to the servers internal ip address.
if anyone has any suggestions on how i might be able to resolve this that would be great!
thanks in advance!
