PPES Folder Security - export to excel

Hi,
I'm trying to give certain user the ability to export to excel in Upfront PowerPlay Reports. The cube property itself doesn't have the capability to export to excel. I tried to get around it by creating folder contain reports and change the cube setting in the folder property to enable export to excel. It doesn't work either. I was wondering if anyone knows a way around it??

What version are you running? I can enable/disable excel export on a cube or report basis in 7.3MR2 (cube properties, "settings" tab, expand "Toolbar" folder under "Display" heading).

Same version.
I disabled export to excel in the cube setting level. In a separate folder I created several reports using the cube. In that folder setting I enabled excel in the cube setting.
Sorry I can't explain it very well. Does it make sense?

Ah, yes. Apologies - I see the distinction. Any changes made on the cube properties tab of the report folder do not appear to over-ride the 'root' settings of the cube, so as to affect the reports. The ability to change the settings without effect suggests a bug, although to be set against this is the fact that one cannot change individual report toolbar settings.
If it's a bug, then one ends up having to create a duplicate cube, just for the selected user, and set the toolbar accordingly, which seems crazy (although I'm experimenting with such to allow users with PDAs to get usable cube visibility)
