Powerpoint: Why the design template can't be applied?

Hi, there

I have a Powerpoint Presentation, which already had a design template. I tried to change it to my own designed template by clicking on "Apply Design Template". But nothing happens.. I am frustrated by this..Anyone knows why this happens??

Open your presentation, and check the backgrounds of each slide...sounds like they're graphics that cover up any design template you might apply...or there's graphics in your master slide that cover up any underlying design... Anne Troy
