I am using Powerpoint 2002 (XP) and have inserted a picture onto my slide.

When i add a text box over the picture and select the fill colour as white it adds a black border to the text box.

Any advice on how i can remove the border?

Make the border white as well

If I wasn't Blue, I would just be a Dragon...

Thanks for the replies.

Unfortunately neither of your suggestions work. Any further ideas?

I have tried a completely blank slide with a new text box on.

As it is there is no line/border.

Fill the box with white and it adds a black line/border and i just can't get rid of it.

What about in a brand new presentation? Same?
How big is the presentation?
Can I see it?
Where are you when you see the border? When printed? Slide Show view?

If i create a blank presentation and add a text box there is no border. All looks ok in normal, slide and print views.

Fill the text box with white and looks ok in normal and slide but has a border in print preview. Print the slide and it has a border.

The addition of the photo does not change the results so is it a bug?

Obviously from a preentation point of view it looks fine but when printing copies out for distribution there are borders on all the text boxes.

Presentation Size = 7.5 KB

I can send a copy if required.

Yes. I have tried it on 3 other PC's. They are all W2K but have different printers.

If you look at it in Powerpoint 2000 it's fine. This only happens in 2002.
