PowerPoint summary slide 2

No matter what I seem to do, I can't get my Summary Slide button to come to life. I have also tryed Alt-Shift-S, and nothing seems to work. It just stays grayed out. I have tried it with or without selecting one or many slides in Slide sorter view.

PowerPoint 2000 SP3 in Win 2K.

You have deleted the Title. Create a new Summary silde and either put your text in place of Title or Put in a title and move it off the slide.

Thanks. That makes sense, but I am not a heavy PR user. Mine starts with a blank slide. How do I create a summary slide?

Right click on the slide, click slide layout, click a layout that has a title text box on it.

Thanks. I always hated the title boxes, guess I'll have to start using them anyway.
