How can i get a powerpoint presentation to start when the person opens the file?

Easist way is to use the Pack and Go option on the File menu. This saves it in a format that allows the recipient/user to kick it off and watch the show even if powerpoint isn't installed on their machine, as well...

If the person has Powerpoint, simply save the file as a "show" (*.pps) and send that.

If they don't have PowerPoint, you'll want to do the pack and go and include the viewer. Anne Troy
