Hello all!
It is now my job to create a presentation template which is suitable for use in a lit room, so that people can take notes etc. whilst the presentation is happening.
I would really appreciate some input on which colour-scheme would be best for this.

Usual choice is high contrast with yellow/white text on black/dark blue background the ususal recommendation.
 
Windows has sevral High Contrast options in the Desktop Properties Appearance tab. Find one you like, then toggle back and forth.
