I'm creating a .pps table of contents for several documents in our project. The hyperlinks I've created do a great job of opening the documents in their native application so we can work on them.

The problem I have is all of the .ppt documents open in presentation mode instead of "working" mode. Granted, that's what I want most of the time... just not now.

Any ideas on how to open a PowerPoint document in .ppt "working" mode (with all tools showing) from another PowerPoint .pps file in Show mode?

Thanks,
Rob

Hi,
I've had some success with simply changing the extension. I've copied the file so I always have an original. Then I change the .pps to a .ppt, and it's worked.

Delete a hyperlink and run a programme instead: in the action settings, copy the hyperlink address(Drive:\Path\FileName.ppt), delete it, and paste to 'run' (programme) option below.

Combo,

Now that's what I'm talking about!!!! It worked perfectly albeit a warning comes up about opening files.

It is EXACTLY what I wanted. Thank you very much. Star for you.
