PowerPoint Hyperlink Quirk

I am building a Table of Contents at the beginning of this PowerPoint presentation, and would like to hyperlink of the TOC to the various slides.

In spite of various work-around attempts, I occasionally cannot get a hyperlink to go to a particular slide. No other problems with similar hyperlinks to other slides (this should be a consistently easy thing to do, but it is not...).

Has anyone run into this problem and discovered the answer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a lot of links...you may have reached the limit. See
