I have a colleague working on a presentation. He is pasting some material from an existing presentation into a conference template prepared by our company. When he does this, the text in all of his text boxes is converted to subscript. The same thin happens if I bring the slide in w/ the Reuse Slides command.

The problem doesn't appear if I copy the material into a blank presentation, so the problem is almost certainly in the template--I just don't know where to look. I've been poking around the slide master, but haven't found anything.

both his presentation and the template are saved in PPT 03 format, but I've saved both in 2007 format and the same thing has happened.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

With all apps closed, find PowerPoint.QAT file on your drive. Rename or delete the file and see if problem goes away.

Deleting or re-naming the file causes PPT to lose any custmizations that are applied.

Another Victim of the recession

I've not made any modifications to the Quick Access Toolbar in PowerPoint, so I don't have a powerpoint.qat file.

jthomas - does the problem occur if your collegue pastes from a different presentation? Doing this as a test could help determine where the problem is.

Good luck,
GS
