Hi all,

A customer has a misconfigured Dell server running SBS 2003. It has two 75Gb ATA disks in stripe RAID 0 usin a CERC4 controller.

I need to add an extra disk to this server so that I can build in some kind of redundancy - does the CERC card allow to convert the RAID 0 by using the 3rd disk to act as a mirror or parity drive?

Is it possible to do this without losing any of the data? I haven't been able to shut the server down yet to look at the RAID BIOS, nor does it have array manager or LSI power console plus installed (I believe these are also LSI cards?).

Thanks.

Stuart.

Sorry, it's not a 1600SC, it's the IDE version.
