Hi
i have recently upgraded a Definity R11 si to an s8700 but since then we are having problems with the power units in the si cabs if the power goes off when you reboot the cabs will stay up for 10 secs then they will trip out.The only way around this is to pull all the cards out and power the cabs up and put the cards back in one by one and the cabs are ok.
Any Ideas would help
Thanks
Tony

Sounds like that there is too much current draw as the system is coming up. By taking out the cards, the system is able to not be drawing so much power running all the cards as it reloads software and such. Reinializing the software must be drawing a lot of current. But why that would be happening just since upgrade???!! Got to look at what has been changed then.....

I have sorted the problem out.It was one card in each cabinet 01a04 and 01b05 and they were TN2214b digital
when i took these out the cabinets come up fine.
