power light and driver issue

i wanted to know if some wiring is set up wrong. i just put together a new motherboard into a new tower. everything starts up fine but the red light on front is on and not the green light. lastly, i have windows xp and the system can't find the multi audio media control driver.

the lights are controlled by where and which way you place the cables on the motherboard. Check your connections. If the drivers can't be found you may need to supply them. They should come with the motherboard or the cards you installed (or their websites)
