Our dell power edge was setup with two different network cards. each of them has it own IP. most of our outlook email user were setup with one of those then the traffic is coming high in one card.
what is the purpose to use two NIC's cards???
our internet access slow down with any modification on the NIC card with less traffic.
please give me ideas...

There are two NICs so you can set up adapter teaming. This essentially makes the two act as one (with only one IP) for load balancing or fault tolerance. However, you must also have a switch which supports it.

Go into the Control Panel and open the Intel PROSet II software. The help section will tell you everything you need to know. If you aren't going to use both NICs, then just disable the unused one.
