I replaced the batteries and thought they were the problem. After testing I find each battery is around 50 Volts DC. Upon further testing at the 250 V rectifier, I find with the batteries disconnected I read minus 35 Volts and in the two othwer cabinets I read approximately 215 volts DC with batteries disconnected. Now I need to know if my 397C power supply is bad or the 250 V rectifier is faulty. Is there a way to test either. The cabinet is still working by the luck of whatever.
