How do I turn these off?

Not sure of your question.

Posted message is something the end user can turn on.

Are you saying one is turned on when you call someone, and you want to turn that one off?

Somehow an end user turned on an away message, and now the operator is complaining that she can't transfer callers to him.

Go to his/her phone, press menu, msgs, Dlete

Actually, I don't think any Posted Message would prohibit calls being transferred to it.

Either way, At the phone with the posted message, touch Menu > Post > Cancel, and that should take care of it.
