Post without going to the page

Hi guys...

Im really stuck here! I need to past variables without going to the actual page. Um... and it needs to be saved in my database. How do i explain this properly.

Okay, people come to my site and create an account ie. create_account.php... that page is then directed to checkout_confirmation.php. Now, the info needs to be posted to another page aswell when you click submit, ie: info is sent to two pages but only one page is displayed!!

Understand...if not please say something and i'll explain in more detail.

why do you want to have 2 pages? why not make them as one page???

This sounds to me like a prime candidate for the use of session variables.
