Spec= AMD-K6-2-500AFX, 64meg DIM, Motherboard Jetway J-542C. Bios Award Modular v4.51PG. v.542CS D06 10-25-2000.

I am putting together a system based on above spec, with an AGP display adaptor, on boot up I get a POST error beep, one long three short, and no display.

I tried a different known working AGP card (ATI Rage 128 XPert 2000), same result, I tried a PCI display card and everything worked fine.

My conclusion: the AGP port don't work, but am I correct, is there something I am missing, could there be any other reason the AGP cards don't work? Some BIOS setting? Speed of AGP port don't match speed of card? Any sugestions/advice, appreciated.

Regards, TopHat2.

:) On advice from "butchrecon" (in another forum)
I chainged the BIOS seting "Init Diwsplay First :pCI Slot" in "Intergrated Periferals" to "...:AGP" and it works.

Thanks,butchrecon.
