Is it possible to view a call log (incoming and outgoing) from within Manager? I have a user reporting a customer cannot call them and they get a busy signal when they dial the user's direct line. I'm assuming it's either because the customer's number is withheld or unavailable. I just need proof of it.

Use SSA and/or Monitor. Log to file.

Kind regards

Gunnar

You need to use System Status Application (SSA) not Manager, it's a live view but will show alarms if a trunk was maxxed out etc :)

So there isn't a call log that runs at all times, you can only view a log when you start a Trace All on a specific extension?

Yes, but this makes it far more flexible and useful when it comes to troubleshooting issues than systems that run logs instead. If it's as prominent as they say it can't be hard to reproduce/catch :)

Why don't you pick up the phone and call that number?
Open SSA and Monitor, trace your own call.

Kind regards

Gunnar

I can call the number and so can the user... I have two call routes setup to block any incoming calls from numbers that are withheld or numbers that are unavailable. I was hoping to be able to just go back in the call history/log file and see if that call came in and was dropped because the customer called from a withheld or unavailable number.

If you programmed the ICR to do so, that's exactly what happens.

Talk to Xima software, get a trial license for Chronicall.
You can the create reports on most things then.
If they like it (it's bloody awesome), buy it.

Kind regards

Gunnar

Now you're going to laugh at me... We do have Chronicall... lol I'm just not that experienced in using it or IP Office.

Time to roll up those sleves then:)

Kind regards

Gunnar
