possible to migrate an exchange server to a new domain?

I need to rename a W2K AD domain that contains an Exchange 2000 Server. I don't believe renaming is possible since the domain is running in Native Mode.

I have collapsed multiple domains in the past using ADMT, and my thoughts here were to build a brand new domain with the desired name, establish a trust, and migrate all systems over using ADMT. But would I be able to move all the Exchange related AD information over to the new domain?

however it's not supported by MS, though they wrote the article on how to do it - so your on your own if something goes wrong with the move.
