Hi folks,

I was wondering:
Is it possible to extract the databases from a PPC / PDA so that I can actually use the information on my PC ?

In this special case I'd like to extract my "Contact Database" ...

Regards,
Thomas

Yes, you can do this via ActiveSync. It doesn't actually extract the data into a file that you can play with but it will synchronise the contacts on your PDA with those on your PC if your PC uses software that supports this (such as Outlook). It can also synchronise appointments, emails and other things that you can select.

You need to download the latest version of ActiveSync from Microsoft's web site, install it on your PC, connect the PDA to the PC with the appropriate cables then follow the instructions.
