Positioning of the site in dreamweaver/fireworks

Howlette agin, can anybody tell me how i can make the positiong of my site the same for IExplorer browsers and netscape?

another problem - check out on a 17# monitor the site has a big gap to the left and on a 14# monitor it fills the screen perfect, how can i make it so that it is perfect for people with different monitors? and for people with different browsers

Hi,

Welcome to the world of HTML!!!

Basically you have to design your web pages for the lowest common dinominator. That would mean 800x600 size screen. If you go larger, people will have to scroll, and if you go smaller you will end up with ugly gaps in your screen.

Designing pages that look perfect in both browsers is a challange. The reason for this is because both browsers use different size scroll bars and browser windows! Again you will have to experiment to find the best compromise.

Here is some good news. Netscape will no longer renew it's browser. It's seems they have decided to get into some other business. So you might not have to worrie about it for very much longer!
