Good Morning!

We have a site with a couple of P1515’s and an inherited Posiflex terminal. The Posiflex has had issues with date/ time settings during power loss—which occurs often at this site(we’re attributing this to a dead CMOS battery), so we’ve disabled master capability on this terminal. For the past few days, the terminal has been showing as offline in Command Center and has been displaying the Windows login screen. We have to have someone at the store enter the user name and password with a USB keyboard before iber will start and the terminal will come online.

We’ve used “control userpasswords2” and regedit (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon) to set the terminal to auto-logon, but every morning after the EOD restart, the Windows Login screen is there waiting for us. This seemed to start happening right as the restaurant changed its passwords for the quarter. The terminal has read/ write permissions for all other terminals and the BOH.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The ForceAutoLogon string was absent. Adding that seems to have fixed it.
