Hi Guys,

I have a sonic pro 100 firewall within our LAN, I'm trying to setup a voip gateway in our office, and have setup all the correct ports for forwarding inward. As soon as I answer the call the call disconnect I was told by the voip engineer that it is because our firewall translate to a different port to the other end. What I wanted to know if there's anyway to configure the firewall to forward the same port out as same port it came in?

Make sure you are running the 6.5 or higher series firmware. Not sure what page it is on, but look for a box called SIP Sessions an enable it. SIP is session initiated protocol especially for VOIP and it works like a change here on a Pro100 and Pro230
