Hullo all -
i'm trying to get my HP Openview box to set an alarm when port security is tripped on our device, but we can't seem to figure out the OID of the trap.
our syslog server gets the port security breach message fine, the port closes, we get the linkup/linkdown messages from the switch, but no traps indicating that port security has been tripped. . .
i've configured cpsSecureMacAddrViolation (1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.315.0.0.1) and c2900AddressViolation (.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.87.2.0.1). snmpnotify will set them off, but nothing's coming in from our switches (all 2924's)
can anyone help me out?
thanks!
