POP3 service wont start.

The Microsoft Exchange pop3 service wont start. when i manually start it, it takes a while then comes back with the error 'the pop3 service could not be started in a timely manner'. It then hangs on 'starting'.

Any ideas whats going on here?

what error does it say in the event viewer

Hi, the only things recorded in event log were The Microsoft Exchange POP3 service was successfully sent a start control.

It appears to be working now after a few reboots.
