POP3 Protocol Error Bad Login

Hello, I need help. I am trying to use notes 5.0 to send and receive my internet mail using POP3 and SMPT. From what I can tell I am able to send mail, but not receive it. When I try to replicate and receive my mail it gives me the error message POP3 Protocol Error - ERR Bad Login. What does this mean, and how do I fix it, PLEASE help me!

To log into your pop3 mailbox, you must use the shortname & the http password (internet password)

Make sure there is only 1 name in the shortname field of your person document (to test), and delete what's in your httpPassword (internet password) field, and retype your password (or use a 'test' password)

Now try again using the name in your shortname field, and the password in your internet password field... Peter Van Eeckhoutte
