Hi

I would like to know how to set the POP3 protocol to be disabled for the recipient by default when a new mailbox is created. I am using Exchange 5.5 SP3.
I don't know if I'm on the right track but there is a mailbox 'raw mode' attribute called 'Protocol-Settings' which may be copied from a default setting somewhere (?). I could solve this by creating a default mailbox which I could then 'duplicate' when setting up new users, but as I've got a multiple server exchange system it would be just as easy to say "remember to disable POP3" than to say "remember to change the server most of the time to share the mailbox load."

Hope someone can help

Thanks

Richard
