Hi all,

Strange situatiion

an exchange needs to download mail from a pop3 account somewhere else and dump it into an exchange mailbox of a certain user. A pop3 connector needs to be used for this

The internal domainname is domain.local
and de pop3 domainname is something.com

now, the pop3 connector is downloading the mail but somehow it doesn't end up in de user's mailbox......
Is it possible you need a rule or policy that says allow mail from something.com into my domain?

Thank in advance

What POP3 connector are you using?

Marc
If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, expect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

Making some assumptions (I hate that word) and you are using the included Microsoft POP3 Connector that SBS has - Make sure you have a Recipient policy set (it can be pretty much generic) to identify both the external and internal domains (something.com and something.LOCAL)
