Pop ups come up blank white

I know this sounds rediculous, but the pop ups on my machine are coming up blank. Some of the pop ups, I use. Does any one know how to fix this? I have disabled my pop up blocker, but it still just shows a white blank box. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Scan for and remove spyware. I suggests using at least 2 scanners, I use spybot and ad-aware.

Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.

Is your firewall blocking them too? Do you have JavaScript enabled or is that being blocked by your browser or firewall. Things like the Google Toolbar or SP2 (RC2) have pop up blockers incorporated in them.

I have ran adaware and spybot. I check the browser security, but it is in check. Ever heard of mcafee ASAP causing this problem?
