Pop-up spam has become my screensaver??

I have never encountered this before - If I leave my computer for about 10 minutes (screensaver time), a bunch of offline pop-up spam comes up everywhere, and my tool bar disappears. I tried clearing the history and temp internet files, but it's still happening.

I can't seem to find any free application online to help me get rid of this specific problem. Any suggestions?

Do you have an Anti-Virus program installed?

If so what version?

You have been hit with a program such as Add-Ware, that displys these POP-Ups. If your Anti-Virus Software does not support the removal of these programs, you may try locating the offending program in Task Manager.
