Hi

I'm having trouble with these pop-up menus!

Firstly, why is it that in the pop-up menu section of Fireworks only a couple of fonts are available? Elsewhere in the program I have access to my full list of fonts. Is there any way to use a font that is NOT in the pop-up menu options list in the pop-up menu?

Secondly, after many days of struggle, I seem to have finally gotten my pop-up menu into dreamweaver, but the links on the menu aren't working. When I built the pop-up menu in Fireworks, I named all the links after the various anchors on my pages and set the target as mainFrame. When I preview the dreamweaver document though and click on one of the links inside the menu, it just inserts a whole copy of the pop-up menu file into the main frame. How on earth do I direct the links within the menu to open up at the anchors throughout my pages???

Thanks for your help

try something like this: mypage.html#anchorname this will find the specific anchor on that specific page...as for the fonts, i'm not sure, I would try adding the name of the font in the coding, and see if that works, you may also have to upload the *.ttf into you're web directory...
hope that helps... I have not failed; I merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

Hello baffled111!

1) How many fonts can you use in HTML page? Not many if you think about cross-platform compatibility. Right? That's why FW gives only fonts mostly suitable for web browsers (like DreamWeaver does). It's understood when you select HTML style for your pop-up menus.

But when you select image style - there is no any deference what font will you use - it will be an image and will be available in all browsers on all platforms. I think in this case FW must give all available fonts but it doesn't. That's bad. You won't be able to fix it.

2) you probably wrongly make links. Do as what GUJUm0deL suggested.

Good Luck!
