pop up ads

I am getting many pop up ads. I have Norton Internet Security and Antivirus installed. For a while, all pop ups were blocked. I'm getting them again. How can I block?

has a free one for IE that stops them in their tracks, and can be disabled easily if you need it (like with AOL)

I just use Opera, which stops them all, or opens them in the background, or....
