Pop-Under instead of Pop-Up

I am familiar with the script to make a pop-up box with a new browser. However, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on making a pop-under box.

Would it just be a matter of alternating browser focus?

also on a side note in regards to your question. you can manipulate the way the popup comes up with a focus event.
