I have something like 1 mio plugins loaded in photopaint and then some of them disappear, because the taskbar is so long (reaches from top to bottom) that some of the plugins are not displayed. I opened the plugins with a hex editor and changed the name of the "directory" under which they appear in photopaint so that they are put together under one "tab" to get all plugins displayed. but now a new problem arises: if too many plugins are loaded, those at the very bottom are greyed out, even if displayed. if I remove some of the plugins all plugins that are left can be used again. but I don't want to remove any plugins, just because the corel developers don't know how to programme! In adobe illustrator 10 and fireworks mx the bars are smaller and all plugins are shown and work without problems, although the number of plugins in all three progs is nearly identical.

look at this picture:

corelplugins.jpg

see? the options are greyed out. if I remove one or two plugins from the plugins directory (no matter which ones), the remaining ones are switched back on

addition: it seems that photopaint can accept only a limited number of plugins, no matter how many groups there are. so even if I continue to group plugins together (by changing the name of group with a hex editor), it doesn't matter. even if I reduce the number of groups so that all plugins are visible (within the bounds of the screen), some of them still stay greyed out, even if visible; seems as if photopaint simply switches the last ones off (in alphabetic order), if there are more plugins than allowed.

so my question is how do I increase the allowed number of plugins in photopaint?
