Just wondering if there are any plugins available that work for premiere 6.5? Or even if 6.5 supports plugs?

Well, what plug-ins are you looking for? Numerous plugins are available such as the one linked below. If you have a particular application you want to work with Premiere, search that vendor's website for plugins. The link below is just one example of many plugins available.

I am after mroe than anything a fish eye style plug in, which can make the footage i have loo like it has been shot through a fisheye lens....
