I have a problem with my computer which has a Soltek 75KV Socket A motherboard, with an AMD Duron 600 CPU and Award BIOS vers 6.00PGN. When I boot up it does not recognise the Hansol 710D Plug-and-play Monitor I have. As a result it loads up Vgasave as the monitor driver which, although the monitor still works from, gives a low resolution display. I have tried reinstalling the monitor drivers using both the installation program provided by the manufacturers and the add/remove hardware Wizard in Windows 2000 - with no success for either approach. I have now at least been able to use the Windows 2000 Installation wizard to start to load the 710D driver but it only goes so far before giving me the error message "The installation failed because a function driver has not been specified for this device instance"
if I try using the install.exe program I end up with the error message "Monitor is not properly installed (Error code is 0)"
