Pls help-2nd post How can I auto exec a macro on opening a word doc

Pleae help : (It cant be difficult !!!!)

I am executing a DDE command that automatically opens a word document using '[FileOpen "C:\CONTACT.DOC"]'

Can I extend or add another DDE command to execute a macro as well as soon as its opened.....

One way is to use the Open event of the Word document where you can insert any code you want
