PLEV Primer? 3

I notice that some of my phone sets are PLEV 00 and some are PLEV 02. None are ACD sets.

So, PLEV = Intrusion Priority Level, but what does it do and does it really matter (to the next 20 sets I need to build)?

I think that goes back to AUTOVON days where if a Sergent was on the phone and a General wanted to make a call, but no lines were available, his call would kill the Sergent's call.

Agree, in the UK, we tend to try and always make the PLEV value "0", but it was a prompt that in effect had little meaning and wasn't of much use.

Any idea which would have priority, 0 or 2?

PLEV 0-(2)-7 Priority Level, prompted with Priority Override/
Forced Camp-On (POVR) package 186 or
Enhanced DPNSS1 Services (DPNSS_ES)
package 288

2 = set can override sets of level 1 and 2, and
can be overridden by sets of level 2-7
