PLEASE MOUNT BLANK MEDIA, question about this

Hi all, I searched the forum for related items, to no avail.
I am trying to get any type of job to run using Brightstor v.11 and W2K3 Enterprise edit. For any type of job I submit, I get the popup:
Please mount any media. Or Please mount media "medianame"
If I cancel, (the only way to quit the job) I get an error titled CARUNJOB.EXE
The instruction at "0x7c8327f9" referenced memory at "0xffffffff". The memory could not be "read".
Click OK to terminate the program.

Any ideas or experience?
 
We had a similar experience and finally found that within the scheduled backup set-up, it was actually pointing to a network drive and not the tape drive.

Once we corrected this it worked fine.

Make sure the job is pointing to the correct device group.

Also it would be a good idea to check for ARCserve updates.

For the future it helps to provide details, such as the revision of ARCserve, if OS SP is installed, type of backup device, etc.
