I am looking to build a notebook

I want to waste around 1200$.

I do not need a OS or any other kind of software

I have a stick of 512mb PC2700 200 pin

I want a intel pentium 4 3.2 ghz or highter or a AMD 64 processer
Atleast 60 GBS.
A decent videocard
a good viedo card
512 ram
good speakers
a reular cd/dvd drive

Can anyone please name me all parts neccessary for what I need to set up everything (motherboard, chip, viedo card, sound card, cse, etc.)

Also guys maybe some websites that sell these parts for cheap. Please guys all help will be greatly appreciated.

Erm xodus6 most of the time we point you in the right direction you do the searching, we will then tell you whether or not it is all compatible with your system.
Dragonq0105 has recommended a good site to you and i recommend that you take time to look through the site and get some bits together for us to look at.
I know dragonq0105 is very good at configurations (he helped me with my pc build, which i am still researching) the principle of tek-tips is a user support forum, not a leave a question and take more and more.

You will not find many parts for a notebook computer as they aren't something people usually build themselves. Just buy one that fits your purpose.

But you might try a google search for "lunchbox PC" and find something just a little larger that is custom buildable.
